Icon began formally around 2005, out of a need for quality, affordable training. Icon Gym has called many places home-- a park, a church, a dining room floor, a non-heated shop during a very cold winter, a masonic temple and--finally, our permanent home at 3019 E Diamond.
We continue to maintain relationships with many other schools around the Pacific NW, and we pride ourselves on maintaining relationships that strengthen the martial arts community... something that provides an invaluable benefit to our students. If we can't offer you what you need to reach your individual goals, we likely know who can. But, we would love to learn with you, so we often bring in guest instructors and renowned martial artists for training sessions and seminars to expand what you know.
Through it all, Icon Gym has always been a place where anyone, regardless of skill level, could come and receive quality traing at a tremendous value; but more importantly, Icon Gym continues to be a place where you can be part of something bigger than yourself-- a culture, an art... a team.
